Anita McGann started her career as a master stylist over 15 years ago, but her passion for hair and beauty has prevailed since childhood. Anita spent 15 years at the Aveda Academy in Denver where she became a master stylist well-versed in all things hair and well renowned makeup artist. In addition to her expertise in hair and makeup, Anita pioneered charity events for local orphanages in the Denver metro area. Anita started a program at Aveda that offered free hair services and fundraising for orphans and neglected kids. At first this was a lone venture, but soon inspired her entire Aveda team to join in as well. Anita’s commitment to giving continued as she volunteered her time and skills for breast cancer photo shoots, haircuts for the homeless, and fundraising for charity:water. Throughout her time as a master stylist she became inspired by what natural and botanical products could do for the well-being of her clients and their beauty needs. Originally hailing from Nepal, Anita found herself close to and inspired by nature. Anita has always held a special place in her heart for her Nepali roots - she even volunteered to do hair for the first Nepali fashion show in Colorado. Coming from a developing nation, Anita has always pushed herself to be better, do better, and persevere. This, coupled with her experience at Aveda, motivated her to pursue her dream of opening her own hair studio.
